The Brashear Lady Tigers faced LaPlata in the district championship game Friday. LaPlata got all the offense they would need with a run in the 1st as Brashear failed to score in the 6-0 loss. LaPlata got another run in the 3rd, but Brashear kept the lid on LaPlata's offense and gave themselves a chance to come back through the sixth when LaPlata scored 4 insurance runs with 2 outs. Hannah Grissom had a double and a single for Brashear with Alexa Borgmeyer and Sierra Snyder both having doubles. Alexa Borgmeyer gave up only 1 earned run while striking out 9.
